Ms. S. Jayastri
Ms. S. Jayastri hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu and has attended TEFL Live Online Course at Asian College of Teachers. She has completed her Bachelor’s degree in English and has also worked in some reputed schools. However, due to some personal reasons, she had a career gap which lowered her confidence level immensely as she searched for ways to upgrade her knowledge and boost her confidence to start afresh.She is thankful to have got this opportunity to pursue the course and learn the new techniques and methodologies of teaching to learners irrespective of their age or background, apply them meticulously in the class, handling these learners in the classroom under any circumstances, and many other important things which she was not aware of, and this finally helped her to regain her lost confidence.
She is also in praise of her tutors whom she found to be immensely helpful and down-to-earth. They were always present to clarify her doubts, no matter how much time she took to understand a particular point. She always got prompt reply whenever she mailed her queries. There was no delay from the tutor’s end and that helped her to complete the course on time. Ms. S.
