Ms. R Blessy has completed Master’s in English and has done 120-hour in-class TEFL program from Asian College of Teachers in Chennai. The course has helped her learn innovative 21 st century teaching techniques, a far cry from the traditional methods, to help learners acquire the English Language in the easiest of ways. She thoroughly enjoyed her teaching practice sessions as she was able to implement what she learnt in the course and as a result she also gathered good amount of knowledge from those class demonstrations.She is very happy as she is of the opinion that she has also learnt the approaches of the now commonly used ‘blended teaching method’ and hopes that she is able to pursue her dreams with her newly-acquired professional as well personal skills and a TESOL Canada accredited certificate. She also found her trainer to be quite supportive throughout the course as she helped all the trainees meet her learning goals.
She recommends ACT’s TEFL course to all aspiring teachers and at the same time expects more assistance from our placement department to help students get more placement opportunities.
