Rebecca Pakrasi, an arts graduate from Pune, completed a 120-hour TEFL course at the Asian College of Teachers (ACT). Upon completing the course, she gained valuable knowledge about various teaching methodologies, multiple intelligences, and the diverse types of learners found in a classroom setting. This course was especially beneficial for Rebecca as she had no prior teaching experience.Through the course, Rebecca realized the significant evolution in the field of teaching, and she found the program to be instrumental in equipping her with the necessary skills and insights to excel in her current role as a teacher. Upon successfully completing the program, Rebecca sought job opportunities and discovered the ACT job portal. She shortlisted a few opportunities and reached out to the ACT placement team. The placement head not only prepared her for interviews but also provided valuable tips for interview success, including guidance on questions and answers as well as grooming advice. Thanks to this support, Rebecca was able to secure her first job interview after a gap of 13 years.
