Ms. Sharmistha Mukhopadhay has been a student at Asian College of Teachers
(ACT) and is currently working at International STEAM Research (ISR) as a
facilitator. She is glad that she came across Asian College of Teachers through
social media and attended a demo class before enrolling in the course conducted
by ACT’s trainer whom she highly praises. Impressed she enrolled in International
Teaching Diploma in-class program. She learnt the principles of teaching, various
teaching techniques required for the 21st century learners, classroom
management etc. She also gathered extensive knowledge on special education,
project-based learning along with STEM to ensure a holistic development of the
learners. Her mentors Ms. June and Ms. Rimpa Ghosh successfully helped her
achieve her learning goals through their constant support and guidance. She feels
the course is perfect for both aspiring and experienced teachers due to its
innovative curriculum. She finds her learning and newly-acquired skills to be really
useful as she gets to practice them in her position at ISR. She is really happy with
her experience at ACT and is ever thankful towards her mentors and placement
head Mr Shounak B.
